Epistra Inc. has been selected for the “Global Niche Top Subsidy Program” administered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center. This program provides subsidies for expenses related to the acquisition and maintenance of intellectual property rights, along with support from intellectual property strategy advisors over a three-year period, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises that possess technologies or products with potential for global business expansion.
Subsidy Details
- Maximum Subsidy Amount: 10 million yen over three years
- Eligible Expenses: Costs related to the acquisition and maintenance of rights for relevant products and technologies in foreign countries (including peripheral and improved technologies)
Our Initiatives
Using its proprietary automated experimental design AI “Epistra Accelerate,” the company has been able to reduce trial and error in life science R&D, enabling the discovery of optimal conditions with fewer experimental iterations. In preparation for the large markets in North America and Europe, the company is advancing the registration of intellectual property rights including foreign patents.
