Event Presentation: Spoke at the India-Japan Meeting on the Nobel Turing Challenge
Yosuke Ozawa, CEO of Epistra Inc., presented at the India-Japan Nobel Turing Challenge Meeting (IJNTC2025), held in Tokyo from March 24 to 25, 2025.
The meeting was organized with the aim of “developing autonomous scientific discovery systems leveraging AI,” bringing together researchers and AI experts from around the world to discuss advances and applications of AI in scientific discovery.
The presentation, titled “Autonomous Optimization of Life Science Experiments,” introduced the use of black-box optimization techniques based on Bayesian optimization to address the complexity of life science experiments, with application examples including differentiation induction of iPS cells into retinal pigment epithelial cells. A new approach combining metabolomics data analysis and automated optimization technology was also presented.
